Cynthia Márquez has a teaching degree from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, an Educational Administration degree from Universidad Mesoamericana and a SIT TESOL Certificate (The School for International Training TESOL Graduate Institute). She has an MBA in Business Communication Management from Gadex Cadiz, Spain. She has taught different subjects in English, EFL and Classroom Management and CLIL at the university level. She has attended the TESOL Convention (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) in the United States of America, and has given different workshops in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, and Guatemala. She currently holds the position of Academic Advisor & Editorial Promoter at the Book Distribution Center at IGA, and she is currently teaching at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala and Universidad Rafael Landivar.
