From ordinary to extraordinary: mastering visual design for engaging digital presentations

In this workshop, ELT teachers will have the opportunity to enhance their visual design skills and create captivating presentations that engage and inspire their students. The workshop aims to provide practical strategies and techniques for improving the visual appeal and effectiveness of classroom presentations.

Throughout the workshop, participants will explore the principles of effective visual design, including color theory, typography, layout, and the use of visuals. They will learn how to select appropriate fonts, colors, and images that enhance the overall message and create a visually cohesive presentation. Practical activities and examples will be provided to allow teachers to apply these design principles in real-life classroom scenarios.

The workshop will also focus on organizing information in a clear and logical manner. Teachers will learn how to structure their presentations effectively, ensuring a smooth flow of ideas and facilitating student understanding.
Techniques for using headings, bullet points, and visuals to convey information concisely and engagingly will be demonstrated.

Furthermore, participants will explore various digital tools and platforms that can assist in creating visually appealing presentations. They will also learn how to incorporate multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and interactive features, to enhance student engagement.
