Community Engagement & Global Personnel
Melinda Anderson is learning from the Tz’utujil people while teaching English in San Juan La Laguna, Sololá.
She is a volunteer instructor within the básico program of Colegio Cristiano Nuevo Amanecer and leads adult classes at Sueños Y Esperanzas.
Prior to living in Guatemala, Melinda worked with various NGOs focused on education and workforce readiness for young adults, immigrants and refugees, and within correctional facilities.
For nearly 15 years she worked in community Engagement at Microsoft Corporation.
Melinda has a B.S. in cross-cultural ministry from University of Northwestern, St. Paul and a M.Ed. in Adult Education from Seattle University.
